Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Cole is very much into sports. It's pretty much his life. We play baseball, basketball, golf, and tennis pretty much everyday. He takes his basketball to bed with him. He wears baseball and basketball jammies and half of his wardrobe has some sports theme to it.

Recently, he has found a new passion: vehicles. He specifically loves construction vehicles (aka. escavees) and emergency response vehicles. Anything with a siren is like "Dadda's woo-woo." It's pretty cute.

I don't sleep well so when Zack gets up in the late morning I try to take a nap. The other day I got up from my nap and went out into the living room. There in the middle of the floor was my collection of colored pencils. They're pretty sharp so as a mother, I don't let my almost 2 year old play with them. I guess that's one reason why dad is so much more fun. The colored pencils were lined up end to end in a circle. There next to them was my little dude with a stray pencil saying "choo choo" as he moved it along the circle. Since then, we always have a pencil track on our floor. Guess what Santa is bringing C this year!!!

There is also a sheet fort up in C's room courtesy of Daddy. I bit my tongue when I saw the push pin holes in the wall. Oh well, if that's my biggest complaint about life then I'd say I have it pretty good.
