#1 Valentine shirts
*Yeah, they didn't get done for V-Day although I planned on them in Jan. No before pic. They were just plain white shirts.
*They each only took about 10 minutes to make. C is crazy about the octopus right now. I would have made him a jelly fish shirt but I only had an octopus on my cricut. Easy as pie! L's was just a heart and fabric markers.
#2 Weekly Magnet Board
C is always asking me what day it is and wants to know what's happening. So this is what I made for his room. I got the idea about 2 months ago and the board just last month. Now, I just move the big star to the right day and fill it up with magnets to show what's going on for the day/week
*This project took a couple hours. I cut the vinyl and the magnets with the cricut so it was super easy.
*I forgot to take the before pic before I put "Sunday" on.

#3 B-day apron and oven mitts
*No before pic. It was just a bunch of fabric
*C's friend Cole is totally into cooking. So for his 3rd bday I made him this apron with a fireball graphic and oven mitts to match. I cheated a little cause I found the apron, plain at JoAnns for $2 and added the fireball using the cricut. The mitts are my own creation. They took maybe an hour only cause I got 1 made and it was too small. You can't tell from the picture but I sewed criss-cross patterns on them just like mine.
#4 embellished tee for C
*I stocked up on plain boy tees back in Jan. They were $1.79 and I figured I'd embellish them myself. Well, remember the fireball apron. I cut it out and it was too big for the apron so..... on that plain tee for C.
p.s. this is the before for the apron. Oops, I forgot that I had taken one. Apparently I didn't upload the tee pic. Maybe I'll get to that later. Whoops.
#5 3-D wall art for bathroom
Our bathroom needed something above the towel rack. I've had the materials and the idea for MONTHS but never got to it. It only took an hour.
Before:
After: I love it!
#6 Isla is a hero
No before pic. Sorry. This is a cape I made for our friend Isla. She turned 2 today. I've been meaning to make her a cape since I made one for her big sister. I bought the stuff to make capes for all the kids probably over the summer.
This project took an hour or two. Super cute for a super cute hero.
#7 L's b-day skirt
This skirt was supposed to be for L's bday back in Oct. I started it in Sept but that didn't happen obviously. I followed a pattern and it came out to be long enough for me. So, I put it away and hoped to forget about it..... and then last night I was inspired to finish it. It took 30 minutes. I am so lazy!
before: BLEH!
After: ta-da! I love this skirt now. The border fabric was a scrap that I had wished I had enough to make something out of. it coordinates perfectly with the brown pin dots. I have enough scraps left over to embellish a tee but that's not happening this month. The skirt is still a little big for L. I'd do the tee when the skirt fits a little better.
#8 Ruffled scarves
I got the idea for these beautiful ruffled scarves over the summer and bought the scarves on clearance in Jan. And.... NO PICTURES..... EPIC FAIL. It was a terrible failure. Good thing I found the scarves for $2 so I'm not out much.

WOW! sickness or no sickness you've been busy! I LOVE the art for your bathroom and that skirt for L is SO STINKING CUTE!!! I need to start making some "everyday" dresses and skirts for Allison... its all that girl wants to wear. :)
Awesome Sarah! I've been wanting to do something similar for my bathroom. That's one of the UFO's I didn't get done. I guess there is the slight chance i do it today. The skirt and super cape are also adorable.
I am always in awe of your creativity. Your kids are just getting cuter. Maybe it's just the picture, but C is looking pretty tall.
