This little lady bug loved the swings. I can't tell what Z is doing to C in the background but it doesn't look good!
Me and my buddy in his new Captain America shirt. Doesn't he look happy!
Daddy was lucky to get the night off so we bought some fireworks. C loved them. L did not. But I got lots of snuggles from my little scaredy-cat.
Me and my bugs watching the neighbors fireworks. They kinda went nuts which was great for us. And by the end L didn't think the "booms" were too bad.
Ok, obviously this isn't a great picture but it was the best one of the 2 kids. We should have taken pictures before we met friends at the park. Lesson learned. Sunday night (7/3) I decided that the kids needed shirts for the 4th. So, I pulled out some scraps and some plain tees and this was the end result. This was also the first time I've ever sewn on a Sunday. My Grandma told me when I was a little girl that whatever I sewed on a Sunday, I would have to unpick with my nose in Heaven. Have you ever unpicked with your nose? Doesn't sound easy so that was the 1st and only sewing I will do on a Sunday! L's shirt is a flag but it's hard to see in this picture.
I hope you had a great 4th. We sure did!

My Grandma told me the same thing! I choose not to believe her! Sunday sewing is celestial sewing!
