It's a new year

I love to read blogs. I'm a notorious stalker. I know tons of blog stalkers. I'm glad I'm not the only one. But, I do more stalking than blogging of my own. So, part of my 2011 resolutions is to blog more. I'm trying to be realistic so my goal is to blog at least once every two weeks. There you have it; my new year's resolution. yep. That's my only goal.

Ok, just kidding I actually have a lot of goals for 2011. Here are a few others

Run, run, run... somehow I got talked into registered for a marathon. A FULL MARATHON. 26.2 MILES. I have 5 months to train. It's ambitious but I'm not alone. My friend Kaitlyn is training with me. Today we ran 6 miles in just under an hour. So, 20.2 miles to go and we've made it!

Read. Anything but mostly my scriptures. I had amazing roommates at BYU who inspired/peer pressured me into reading my scriptures regularly. I'd like to be more regular about it. Even if I read more often than I do now would make a difference.

Craft a lot more. It's like my favorite thing to do. I looooove to sew and need to do that more.

Lose a few more pounds. Currently I am at my pre-Cole pregnancy weight, in smaller pants than I've been in years, and in way better shape than ever. But, a few more pounds would be great, especially if they came from my ginormous thighs!

Date my husband more. We rarely go on dates. It's not like we don't have volunteers to watch the kids and girls in our ward willing to babysit. We just don't take advantage of the resources that we have. We are so dumb. But this year will be better.

That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure there are more. I'm sure I'll add more to the list as the year goes on. That's it for me. See you in 2 weeks or sooner. I'll have downloaded pics by then. Be prepared cause I have TONS

Yay! I can't wait for more blog posts to hear how you guys are doing and see pictures of your cute little kids!

I know what you mean about the dates. It's one of my resolutions, too.

Way to go on the marathon. Six miles in an hour? Wow. I seriously don't think I can even run a mile. Keep up the good work!

You are super cool. Great goals! I'm so impressed that you're running a marathon. Dan and I are shooting for doing a half marathon on Halloween, so maybe NEXT year I'll be as awesome as you are. :) Actually, Dan and Chad and I have kicked around the idea of doing the Ragnar Relay up there. It would be so fun to all do it together!

And yay for crafting! We should do some fun projects together so we could cheer each other on.

I still need to commit myself to a few New Year's resolutions, but I'm not ready to have to follow through with any of the things I'd like to do. I'm pretty sure this year will be all about survival with another baby on the way. Maybe it won't be so bad... but I'm not convinced.
