So I realize that it has been awhile since I posted. Honestly, I've intended to update but then something comes up. I really have been busy and I probably won't get less busy for quite sometime. What do I have going on? Well, a lot and I won't babble on about all that I'm doing. Anyway, I have tons of pictures of the past several weeks but they aren't downloaded at the moment. So please be patient.
In the meantime here are some of the most news worthy things that have been going on in our household.
C is potty trained. Yep, and it's a dream come true. Granted there are a few accidents those are getting few and farther between. Thank goodness the weather hasn't been good cause that's given him more time in the house for practising. He gets too distracted when we are outside and that's when he has the accidents. He's stayed dry at night the past 10 or so days. We are afraid to take the pull-ups away from him at night though. It's bad enough that L only sleeps through the night occasionally so pull-ups give me less reasons to get out of bed in the middle of the night.
Potty training was really easy for us. We took the force approach cause I think the "wait til they are ready" approach is a crock. C is not one to try something new so this really forced him to adapt to this new stage in life. Anyway, it worked in just a couple days. So if you want to know the book that I read just let me know. And..... I will be starting L way earlier.
C is also talking like crazy. He's always been a talker but now it's more understandable and he says the funniest things. Today he told me that the money in his piggy bank was from workin. Ht also said, "it doesn't make a difference to me if I go that way." Where in the world did that come from?
L has 2 bottom teeth. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Pray for us cause she still has a load of teeth left to come in.
L can roll like a pro. Noone believes me though cause you put the girl on the floor and she lays there like a lump. Put her in her crib and watch her on the video monitor and she rolls her and there then twists and rolls the other direction. She sleeps in the weirdest positions and rarely in the same place for long. What a weirdo. Does she crawl or scoot? Come on! She won't roll unless I roll her. Do you really expect her to do anything else? No and we're not expecting her to. C went straight to walking.
Anyway, Z and I are getting old and tired. I did turn 27 afterall. I'll try to upload more pics sometime in the near future but don't hold your breath!

Finally! I've been waiting for an update. We don't have the privilege of catching up in the halls at church anymore. :)
Congratulations on the potty training! I would love to check out the book you used. I keep waiting for Sophie to be ready, but she's getting more and more stubborn as she gets older. At this rate, she's still going to be in diapers when she gets married. (Surprise for the groom!) I agree that I'm going to start earlier with the next one. :)
